On January 15 and 16, 2019, Centar za poslovnu edukaciju and European Training Academy organized a workshop at Hotel Hills in Sarajevo on the subject of Horizon2020 project implementation. As part of gender equality project SAGE which is being developed and implemented at International University of Sarajevo, five of our professors took part in this educational program. Among them were: Dr. Lamila Simišić Pašić, Dr. Sadina Gagula Palalić, Dr. Altijana Hromić Jahjefendić, Dr. Džejla Međedović and Dr. Aliye Fatma Mataraci.

The goal of the workshop was to develop competencies and skills within EU Horizon 2020 Framework with a focus on small and medium businesses “SME Instruments”, as well as the outline of possibilities for financing from EU funds with a focus on calls within Horizon 2020, Erasmus+ and IPA II. The workshop presented also open calls for project proposals, how to write a successful proposal, examples of successful Horizon 2020 and IPA II projects. The IUS staff had a chance to also talk to trainers about their ideas and proposals.
